【重要消息】108-2學期韓國嶺南大學停止交換計畫

Dear exchange students,

I have to announce the sad news for you that due to the rapid increase of confirmed COVID-19 patients in Daegu Gyeongbuk region where the university is located, Yeungnam has decided to cancel all exchange program for 2020 spring semester.

● New exchange students : 2020 Spring Exchange Program Cancelled/2020 Fall will be open for you and you do not have to go through admission process again.

● Current exchange students

- Currently in Korea : Please return to your home country./2020 Fall will be open for you and you do not have to go through admission process again.

- Currently NOT in Korea : Please do not come to Korea for 2020 spring./2020 Fall will be open for you and you do not have to go through admission process again.

I am sorry about this but I can see that there is a possibility that the Daegu Gyeongbuk region will be short of medical resources if this outbreak goes on and that is the risk we cannot endure for our guest students. I have already informed your school official about this exchange cancellation.  I do hope to meet you next semester without worrying about making you sick here.
