From April 12 to 15, 2021, The International «Exceptional Woman» Conference: the 50 Year Anniversary Doctorate for Saint Teresa of Avila”, which has been organized by the Catholic University Santa Teresa de Jesús de Ávila, together with the Diocese of Ávila, the Discalced Carmelites and the Eichstätt-Ingolstadt Catholic University (Germany).

The Conference will be held simultaneously in person and virtual mode. Also, it will be available in Spanish, English and German. All the information on this event can be found on this website: http://congresosantateresadoctora.es/.

This Conference aims to offer a space for scientific debate. Therefore, the event will include a dedicated space for the submission of original papers related with the themes covered in it: 
• Spiritual theology. Mysticism in the academic context of the XX and XXI centuries.
• Women and Church.
• Connections, parallels and contrasts between Saint Teresa of Ávila and other Doctors of the Church.
• New Evangelization.

Santa Teresa de Jesús de Ávila es una de las grandes maestras de la espiritualidad de todos los tiempos. Este año celebramos que se cumple el 50º aniversario de su proclamación como Doctora de la Iglesia Católica.
 
Por este motivo, la Universidad Católica Ávila, junto con la Diócesis de Ávila, los Carmelitas Descalzos y la Universidad Católica Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (Alemania), ha organizado el Congreso Internacional «Mujer Excepcional. Cincuenta años del doctorado de Santa Teresa de Jesús».
 
El Congreso se celebrará del 12 al 15 de abril de 2021 de manera simultánea en modalidad presencial y virtual para facilitar la asistencia. Dada la naturaleza internacional de este encuentro, los asistentes podrán seguir en directo las diferentes conferencias en español, inglés y alemán.
