關於交換生的申請資格，請至國合處網站查閱最新一期的「甄選簡章」及「姊妹校名額表」。由於每年的規定與名額可能隨時調整，請務必以甄選當學期公告的資訊為準。簡章內將詳細列出各項申請標準與作業規範。
以下列出常見的基本規範，其餘細節與特定要求，請務必詳閱簡章內容：
(1) 學制規定：以專科部高年級(出國交換當學期需至少為專科部四年級，等同大學一年級)；二技三、四年級；四技二年級以上(含)之同學。若各交換學校針對申請學制有特殊規定，則依其規定辦理。五專部學生不可於五專教育階段報名後於二技教育階段出訪；出訪期間須與報名時為同一教育階段。
(2) 所有參與交換的同學申請及出國當學期仍須具本校在學學籍，並繳交出訪當學期全額學雜費。
(3) 學業分數歷年總平均70分以上/申請語言學習組赴語言中心者學業分數歷年總平均65分以上
(4) 操行分數歷年總平均80分以上
(5) 外語能力檢定：外語能力檢定須依各交換學校之規定辦理並繳交相關正本證明文件。
(6) 學生於同一教育階段擔任交換學生以兩次為限，不得申請赴相同國家研修，且兩次研修期程相加不得超過一學年。
(7) 外籍學生、僑生及陸生不得申請赴其母國之學校進行交換。

1. Who can apply for the exchange program?

Regarding eligibility for exchange student applications, please refer to the latest “Selection Guidelines” and “Partner University Quota List” available on the OICC website.
As regulations and quotas may be subject to change each year, applicants must follow the information announced for the semester in which they apply. The guidelines provide detailed descriptions of all application requirements and procedures.

Below are some commonly applied basic requirements. For further details and specific conditions, please carefully review the official guidelines:

1. Academic Level Requirements:
   Applicants must be enrolled in one of the following programs:

*Senior students in the 5-year program (must be at least in the 4th year at the time of exchange, equivalent to the 1st year of university)

*3rd–4th year students in the 2-year program

*2nd year or above (inclusive) in the 4-year undergraduate program

*If partner universities have specific requirements regarding academic level, those requirements shall prevail.

*Students in the 5-year program are not allowed to apply during that stage and participate during the 2-year program stage. The academic level during application must be the same as during the exchange period.

1. Enrollment Status and Tuition Requirements: All participating students must maintain active enrollment at Wenzao during both the application semester and the exchange semester, and are required to pay the full tuition and fees for the semester of study abroad.
2. Academic Performance:
   A minimum cumulative GPA equivalent to 70/100 is required.
   For applicants to participate language learning group and to language center, a minimum cumulative GPA equivalent to 65/100 is required.
3. Conduct Grade:
   A minimum cumulative conduct score of 80/100 is required.
4. Language Proficiency: 
   Language proficiency requirements vary depending on the host university. Applicants must submit the required original supporting documents of language proficiency in accordance with each institution's regulations.
5. Exchange Limits:
   Students may participate in exchange programs up to two times within the same academic level.
   They may not apply to study in the same country more than once, and the total duration of all exchanges must not exceed one academic year.
6. Restrictions for International Students:
   International students, overseas Chinese students, and students from mainland China are not permitted to apply for exchange programs in their home countries.

可以，只要申請及出國當學期仍具有本校在學學籍即可，但延修生於研修(交換)該學期仍需繳交其所屬學制全額學雜費。此外，應屆畢業生如有服兵役的義務，須考量能否在出國前取得緩役的許可，方可如期出國交流，建議事先可向學生事務處生輔組或戶籍所在地區公所詢問相關程序，以免影響申請計畫。

2. Can graduating students or students extending their studies apply?

Yes. You can apply if you still are a fully-registered student of Wenzao during the application and exchange semester. Students extending their studies must pay full tuition and fees during the exchange semester. Graduating students who need to complete military service should check if they can get approval for deferment before going abroad. It is strongly recommended to ask the Student Affairs Office or the District Office in advance.

出訪交換生一年甄選兩次，每學年度第一學期約在7~8月公告甄選簡章，甄選該學年度第二學期出訪；第二學期約於隔年1~2月公告，甄選下一學年度九月出訪，屆時請留意本組網頁”最新消息”處。

3. How do I apply for the exchange program?

Wenzao selects outbound exchange students twice every academic year.
• First semester (July–August):
Apply for exchange in the second semester of the same academic year

• Second semester (January–February):
Apply for exchange starting in September of the next academic year

Please check the website of the OICC and the section of “Latest News” for announcement to apply.

除了基本中、英文，面試主要依據所申請交換之語組應答，例如申請法語組則以法語為主試語言；德語組以德語為主試語言；西語組以西語為主試語言；日語組則以日語為主試語言。

4. What language is used in the interview?

In addition to Chinese and English, the interview can also be conducted in the language based on the language group you apply for. For example, French will be used in the interview of French group; German will be used in the interview of German group; Spanish will be spoken in Spanish group interview; and Japanese will be needed in the Japanese group interview.

只要符合本校簡章規定以及申請學校之資格(註:部分姐妹校僅受理二技四或四技學生)、語檢條件等規定即可報名該語組。
*需注意部分科目可能無法抵免而影響畢業時程，請於提出申請之前至所屬科系確認有關交換生之課程抵免問題。

5. If I am not a student majoring a particular language, can I still study in the countries where the language is spoken?

Yes. You may apply if you:
• Meet the "Selection Guidelines for exchange program" requirements
• Meet the host university’s requirements
(Some partner universities only accept certain academic programs.)

• Meet the language proficiency requirement

⚠ Important note:
Some courses may not be transferred back for credit. This may delay graduation.
Please check credit transfer rules with your department before you apply.

交換生代表本校赴國外交流，因此訂定選拔標準，期望同學在國外的學習能獲得預期的成效，同時拓展國際視野。如果目前還不符合規定門檻，無論是校內成績或是語言檢定，只須持續努力，定能爭取成為交換生。

6. What if my grades are slightly below the requirement?

Exchange students represent Wenzao. The selection rules help students live and study abroad successfully. If you do not meet the requirements now, please continue to improve your grades or language ability and apply again in the future.

每學期國合處都會與各語組老師進行調查，確認姊妹校最新的合約狀態與收生意願，僅將確認可前往的學校列入名額表，以降低同學申請後無法成行的風險。因此，請務必以「申請當學期公告」為準，並在報名期間密切注意名額表是否有更新。

7. Why does the list of available host universities change every semester?

To minimize the risk of students being unable to study abroad after selection, the OICC coordinates with Professors for International Cooperation each semester to confirm the latest contract status and student quotas for each sister school. Only confirmed institutions are included in the list.
Please ensure you refer to the latest announcements during the application period and keep a close eye on the most up-to-date vacancy table.

申請期間請隨時留意國合處國際交流組網站公告及電子郵件通知。若申請資料需修正，將以Email另行通知。 甄選各階段資訊將公告於網站，包括：甄選公告（姊妹校資訊隨時更新）、報名成功名單、書面審查通過名單、面試公告及撕榜順序公告等。請務必留意各階段截止期限，逾時恕不受理。

8. What information should I pay attention to during the application period?

During the application process, applicants should regularly check the OICC website announcements and the email. If any corrections are required, notifications will be sent via email.
Information for each stage of the selection process will be announced on the website, including selection announcements (with updated partner university information), list of successful applicants, document review results, interview announcements, and ranking/placement order announcements. Please pay close attention to all deadlines, as late participation and submission will not be accepted.

請務必報名截止期限，逾時恕不受理。填寫報名表時，請詳閱各欄位說明，並依規定格式填寫及繳交資料。報名表繳交後，基於公平性原則，恕不接受補件或修改，請務必確認無誤後再送出。

9. What should I pay attention to when submitting my application?

Please pay close attention to the application deadline, as late submissions will not be accepted.

When completing the application form, please carefully read the instructions for each section and follow the required format when submitting all materials.

Once the application form has been submitted, no revisions or additional documents will be accepted due to fairness considerations. Please ensure that all information is complete and accurate before submission.

通過校內甄選並撕榜後，同學將取得本校「交換學生候選人」資格，後續由國合處及各語組老師協助向姊妹校進行提名。請注意：即便通過校內甄選，提名及申請是否被接受，仍須由各姊妹校進行最終審核，最終錄取決定權在交換學校。

10. Does passing the selection and choosing a school (ranking selection) guarantee my placement?

No. Passing the internal selection of Wenzao and completing the school choice process grants you the status of "Exchange Student Candidate." The OICC and professors for International Cooperation will then assist in your nomination to the host university.
⚠ Final Decision Authority:
Please be aware that the final decision to accept a nomination rests entirely with the host institution. Even after passing our internal selection, your admission is subject to their final review and approval.

本校設有校內獎學金，交換生完成交換返國後於期限內繳交所需文件即可獲得該獎學金，金額以每年度本校預算為準。
除校內獎學金，若出訪交換生成績優異可爭取學海飛颺獎學金，國合處亦會協助經濟弱勢同學申請教育部學海惜珠獎學金。每年度獎學金以教育部核撥金額為主。
有些姊妹校亦設有獎學金，提名時姊妹校即會提供資訊，國合處或負責之國際交流合作教師皆會協助同學申請或辦理。

1. Are there scholarships for exchange students?

Yes.
Wenzao offers internal exchange scholarships. Students can receive this scholarship after they return and submit the required documents on time. Scholarship amounts depend on Wenzao's budget each year.
Some partner universities also offer scholarships. Information is usually provided during nomination.
(因外籍學生不符合學海系列獎學金資格，因此英文版未說明學海飛颺及學海惜珠獎學金。)

(Note: As international students are not eligible for the Ministry of Education's “Study Abroad Scholarship Program,” the English version does not include information on MOE Study Abroad Scholarships.)

教育部於每年5月公布「學海飛颺」及「學海惜珠」獎學金核定結果，故上學期出訪之學生，約於當年6月可獲知結果，下學期出訪之學生，可於11月左右得知是否獲得獎學金。

凡具備交換生資格者，皆須繳交文藻全額學雜費以維持在學學籍。在「互惠對等」的基礎下，多數姊妹校提供交換生免繳對方學費的待遇，即「繳交文藻學雜費，免繳對方學費」。然而，部分學校因交流條件不同（例如修習語言中心課程或已載明為「自費」項目），同學仍須額外繳交對方的課程費用，請務必詳閱甄選當學期的公告確認各校的互惠條件。此外，除學費外的所有開銷，包含但不限於交通、住宿、生活、保險、書籍雜費等，均須由學生自理。建議同學可了解當地物價再行評估。

3. Do I need to pay tuition?

Yes. All exchange students must pay full tuition and fees to Wenzao to maintain their student status. Based on the principle of reciprocity, this is generally considered equivalent to paying tuition at the host university, meaning no additional tuition is required by most partner schools.

⚠ Exceptions & Self-funded Programs:
Some programs (such as those at language centers or marked as "self-funded") require students to pay extra tuition to the host institution. Please refer to the latest exchange program announcement for the specific terms of each school.

Additional Expenses:
Students are responsible for all non-tuition costs, including but not limited to transportation, housing, living expenses, insurance, and books. We recommend evaluating the local cost of living before applying.

(1) 於規定之時間內繳交「交換意願切結書」。
(2) 由各學系之國際交流老師及國合處協助進行交換學校之入學申請。
(3) 取得交換學校之入學許可後，自行申請簽證、預訂機票以及出國準備。
(4) 準備欲於研修學校選修的課程資料與其所屬科系負責學分抵免相關師長討論確認。
(5) 如獲得學校核發之獎學金者，須繳交「行政契約書」及填寫獎學金之所需資料。
(6) 參加交換學生行前說明會。
(7) 最遲於出國前完成繳交「文藻外語大學國際交換學生行前程序單」，未如期完成即出國研修者視同未辦妥出國手續，本處得視情節嚴重性做適當懲處，或追回獎助學金。

1. What do I need to do after I pass the selection?

(1) Submit the Exchange Participation Commitment Form.
(2) Apply to the host university with the assistance of the International Cooperation professor of each department.
(3) After receiving the admission offer from the host university, students should proceed with visa application, flight booking, and other pre-departure preparations on their own.
(4) Prepare course information and discuss credit transfer with International Cooperation professor of your department.
(5) If you receive a scholarship, submit the required contract and forms.
(6) Attend the pre-departure orientation.
(7) Submit the Exchange Student Pre-departure Checklist before leaving

If you leave without completing the required steps, you may face penalties or be asked to return the scholarship.

不一定。若交換學校提供接機服務，可能有以下三種情況：
(1) 若該校提供接機服務，建議主動查詢該校官方網站相關資訊，或於取得國合老師同意後，主動詢問該校，並於期限內提出申請及提供班機資訊。
(2) 有提供機場或車站至學校的接駁車，需事先預約，且有固定班次，如抵達時間已無接駁車，仍須自行搭其他交通工具到校報到。
(3) 有提供，但需自行付費申請。可能學校派車，或需自行與接駁車或巴士公司預約，並於搭車時付清車資。

若該校未提供接機服務，則需自行安排交通。

2. Will the host university pick me up at the airport?

Not always. Generally, if the host university offers airport pick-up services, there are three possible situations:
• Free pick-up is available after students submit flight information. Students are advised to check the official website of sister school for relevant information. After completing the application and obtaining approval from International Cooperation Professor, students may also contact the host university directly, submit a request within the designated deadline, and provide their flight details.
• Shuttle service is available at fixed times (reservation required).
• Pick-up is available, but students must pay an extra fee

If no airport pick-up service is provided, students are responsible for arranging their own transportation.

不會。辦理簽證、預定機票及交換當地住宿皆為準交換生義務，若無法承擔此任務，不建議申請交換生計畫。各校入學許可寄達時間、簽證辦理期程、個人準備進度不一，建議務必依個人所申請學校建議之時程即早準備。
(1) 簽證事項可至該國駐台辦事處網站查詢，訂機票可請旅行社代辦。
(2) 請務必辦理正確目的及效期的簽證，若有任何準備上之疑問，可隨時詢問本處或各系協助之國際交流教師。

3. Will the home university help with visas or flight tickets?

No. Exchange students must apply for visas, book flights, and arrange accommodation by themselves.
Students who cannot manage these tasks independently are advised not to apply.

Visa information is available on the foreign representative office websites in Taiwan. Flight tickets can be booked through travel agencies if needed.

Students must ensure that they apply for the correct type of visa and that its validity period covers the duration of their stay. If there are any questions during the preparation process, students may contact our International Cooperation Professor for assistance.

視各校規定。基本上很多學校所開的課程都可以讓交換學生自由修習(不分年級、科系)，但學校還是會視學生之語言能力及修課狀況來規定其所修的課程或學分數。有學校專門針對國際學生開設課程讓交換學生選修；也有學校會考量交換學生語言條件上的限制，規定其只能選修某些科系(院)所開之課程。另外，也有姊妹校是透過某系(院)和本校交流，因此本校學生只能修該系(院)的課程。

4. What courses can I take at the host university?

This depends on the host university.
Many universities allow exchange students to take courses from different departments
Some universities offer special courses for exchange students

Some universities limit courses based on language ability or partnership agreements

不是所有課程都可以抵免。出訪交換生學分抵免相關規定建議請參考法規：教務處的文藻外語大學學生科目學分免修與抵免辦法

註：學分抵免由學生所屬之科系，依科系依「課程領域、課程名稱、授課內容、學分數/上課時數」等為原則自行認定之。

5. Can all courses taken in host university be transferred for credit?

Not all courses can be transferred.

For regulations regarding credit transfer for outbound exchange students, please refer to the “Regulations Governing Credit Waiver and Credit Transfer,” as announced by the Office of Academic Affairs.

Note: Credit transfer decisions are subject to review and approval by the student’s home department, based on criteria such as course field, course title, course content, and the number of credits/contact hours.
